About me

Graham Honeywill May 2018

I am a business accelerator coach and personal life coach, business mentor and facilitator.

My mission is to empower people and businesses to become their “best selves”, to help them grow, fulfill their dreams and find their true vocation in the world, now and for the future. I see this as my “calling” – to help solve the world’s challenges by empowering people and teams to take responsibility for their future and the future of the world. My vision is for a world that has successfully navigated the information technology revolution to a place of prosperity for all. Where global warming and environmental disasters are topics of the past, where people live in health and harmony with the environment and each other. I believe that current and emerging technologies contain the foundation for this place of prosperity, driven by the resilience and creativity of the human race to adapt and to grow. However, for many people this transition will not be easy – they will need support.

This leads to my “why”. To facilitate the life journeys of people and businesses towards a shared vision of the future, using my experiences and skills of coaching, mentoring and facilitation to empower people to take responsibility for their life journeys.

 


I have over 45 years’ experience in corporate life, participating, leading and steering in major change initiatives and over 5 years experience as a life coach, life coaching across countries and continents. I love what I do. 

For most of my life I’ve not know who I truly am, what I’m on this earth to do. My life has been ruled by chance, by fate.

It is only in recent years that I started to realise who I am and what I am. To understand my values, my strengths and weaknesses, my limiting beliefs. Now I look back, with hindsight, to the significant events in my life. Why I did what I did, how I could have done better.

Geographically, I’ve spent my life across three countries, in three cultures, in the UK, in Australia and in Finland.

I’ve experienced two divorces (and three marriages), brought about largely by a lack of balance in my life – too much focus on work at the expense of my family.

Every day I learn more about myself, managing my weaknesses and limiting beliefs, using my core strengths to live a life of happiness and purpose, built from love, humility, resourcefulness, independence, creativity and balance.  

My legacy will lie in my wife, my two children, five stepchildren, one dog, one cat and many friends across the globe.

Since 2009 I have managed my own consultancy business and developed the “Amberbuzz Digital Governance Canvas” based on the Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur Business Model Canvas as a framework and set of tools for holistic channel management.

I have used this framework and the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas to lead and deliver strategies, plans and results.

For most of the past 6 years I have been full-time seconded into Danfoss and then Cargotec, on a variety of projects ranging from eCommerce and Digital Strategy development, Innovation project through to ISO recertification projects.

I am certified in Project Management (PMI) and Life Coaching (International Coaching Certification).

Between 1996 and 2009 I have worked in Nokia, in Finland and Australia in a variety of strategy and business development roles across a number of business areas such as Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Quality and Process Development, measurement and scorecards and business improvement.

I worked in Australia between 1975 and 1999, not only in Nokia Australia but also in GEC, Unilever and Caltex.
